Radiotray-- Lightweight online radio app for Ubuntu



Radiotray is a lightweight radio app thats runs on system tray, it streams online radio from a number of genres from different stations.

So if you are tired of refreshing your browser page to get your online radio stream working again, then you should try Radiotray.

To install Radio tray on Ubuntu.

Open terminal and run the command below
sudo apt-get install radiotray


Once installed run the app and on the prompt configure it to run in "App indicator".


If you get error ‘Gstreamer installation is missing plug-ins’ run the command below to fix it (else ignore this part).
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly


You can also add new stations by Preferences>Configure radios>Add
