Radio recorder for Linux-Ubuntu

There are quite a few ways one could record online streaming radio on ubuntu, however the most easy and efficient way to do this would be by just using these  two simple applications, Streamripper and Streamtuner.

Steamtuner gives you access to a number of radio channels on Xiph, Live365 and SHOUTcast etc. Streamripper on the hand records all of the music track by track and saves them on your system as MP3 files.


Install using terminal(Ctrl+Alt+t)

sudo apt-get install streamripper streamtuner
